Carmen is an Atlanta-based voice actor who focuses on connection, collaboration and giving voice to your words and story. She is known for having a calming, smooth, deep voice that is easy to listen to. Her sound can range from being an educator or subject matter expert, when needed, to being a trustworthy friend who is on your side. Carmen can bring voice to medical narration, eLearning, corporate narration in addition to other genres like commercials, and explainer.
She was introduced to voice over in 2009 when she completed a voiceover certificate program at Clayton State University. In 2021, Carmen resumed her interest in voice acting and began completing workshops and classes at Atlanta Voiceover Studio. She attended acting classes with Premier Actors' Network. Carmen has also completed several online voice over training courses, received private coaching and attended industry conferences to enhance her skills and knowledge.
Carmen grew up on the east coast and has lived in the midwest and in the south. She graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor's in Biology and a Master's in Health Administration. She is a healthcare professional who has a passion for training and communication. Carmen brings that same level of compassion and professionalism to voice acting. In her free time, Carmen enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and refocusing on fitness.
